floral skirt

it was Stake Conference weekend this weekend so I got to wear two outfits..yay! haha

sweater: Forever 21.
skirt: thrift store (my favorite place to shop!).
shoes(not pictured; black booties): Qupid.
so lets talk about thrift store shopping for a bit here.. we got a Goodwill near my house about 2 years ago and, seriously, it's amazing. a large portion of my favorite clothes are from there. thrift shopping is one of my favorite things! there's soo many good items you can find at thrift stores, it's so fun mixing and matching styles to make them look amazing! you need to try it!


also, this is how I did my hair! just french braid your hair like normal, twist into a bun, and bobby pin it down, making sure it's secure on your head. suuper easy and suuuper cute! I'm not very fond of styling my hair up, but I thought this was fun. so I'll be trying to do more with my hair!
basically, go to thrift stores and make some outfits for yourself! haha it's super fun and really cool to be able to wear what you out together:)

    I have a really hard time shopping at thrift stores bc I can't imagine how things will go together. I used to decide what to get by seeing if I could picture it in my fashionable roommates closet :) any tips?

      Jess- when you shop at thrift stores, try to keep your favorite go-to clothes in mind! I have a few favorite skirts and some black jeans that I love pairing patterns with. I sometimes find it really hard finding good clothing that is worth the buy, but when I know that it will go perfectly with a skirt or a pair of jeans, then I buy it! haha what you did with your roommates closet is awesome! I think trying that with all of your favorite and best clothes would help:)
