black pencil skirt

I apologize for not posting anything last Sunday, or this week...at all. haha my family and I took a weekend vacation to Oceanside and stayed with some family there, so I never caught up with the blog..oh well, here's to more posts soon;)

anywhooo, here's my outfit today!

blouse: thrift store (no tag)
skirt: Banana Republic (thrift store)
shoes: Forever 21
necklace: Forever 21

I've seen the collared shirt/blouse with statement necklace a million times, but never tried to go for it. lately I've been wanting to try it, soo I did! I like it, but I think this shirt was a bit big for me haha maybe I'll go to the thrift store to see if I can find something there. :)

I really like working with neutral colors for outfits, and then making it 'pop' with a bright color.
